Sikorsky and AAG displayed the Sikorsky S-76D aircraft at this year’s NBAA-BACE, in Las Vegas from October 22-24. Sikorsky’s Regional Business Development Executive, Jeanette Eaton, and AAG’s Chief Operating Officer, Ray Altieri flew the aircraft from Bridgeport, CT cross country to Las Vegas. This year’s NBAA theme focused on Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and the Future of Aviation. Sikorsky is making its own strides in the UAM realm and debuted its plans at this year’s HAI Heli-Expo. EVA Magazine recently published a feature story on Sikorsky’s VIP platforms during this week’s show. Jeanette covered the flight on her personal Twitter from Connecticut to Las Vegas, with stops along the way including St. Louis, MO and Santa Fe, NM. She and Ray Altieri flew the S-76D and gave reporters from industry magazines the opportunity to experience the exceptional capabilities of the luxury helicopter and view the West Coast like no other. From flying over the Hoover Dam to hovering above the Grand Canyon at 9,000 feet, the D-model is equipped with modern technology and builds upon the safety, reliability and efficiency established by a long legacy of the S-76 family of aircraft.
